This should be fun! Cost per person: $27.60 round trip/based on 10-ride tickets. Train departs Jack London Square, Oakland at 7:45 a.m. (Berkeley Station 7:55 a.m.) and arrives in Sacramento 9:45 a.m. We can return on the 4:40 p.m. train. Library hours: 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Bring a bag lunch and something to drink. You will be required to leave your belongings in a locker in the entrance of the library. The State Archives are a block away for anyone interested in researching that facility.
