Repairing precious papers is Karen Zukor's art. She has been a conservator for 31 years and has been working in her Oakland, CA studio for 19 years. She is an expert, and we look forward to her presentation. Feel free to bring a document needing some repair and get her advice and opinion on how to go about it.

We are looking forward to having Mark Holderbien and Terri Lipscomb, from the Alameda County Recorder's Office as our speakers. They will fill us in on recent changes and how we can best obtain documents, etc. Guests are certainly welcome.

There is always a shred of truth in most family lore. However, separating truth from myth is not always easy. Chris will explore her experiences in separating truth from myth in several stories, from the ordinary to the improbable. This should be a very interesting and informative meeting.
